Altecnic - Series 253 Solar Safety Pressure Relief Valve (3/4" x 1" FBSP, 4 Bar) is a high-quality component designed for use in modern heating, cooling and potable water systems. The Altecnic series 253 safety relief valves are used to control pressure in the primary circuits of solar heating systems. The valve is selected for the required set pressure. As the pressure rises, when the discharge pressure is reached, the valve opens and discharges to the atmosphere, preventing the pressure within the system from reaching levels which might damage the solar collectors and other equipment installed in the system.
